Pontresina in November!

°

Spent a few days in Switzerland,
again clear, sunny days and a great slope.

Driving from Elmau through Austria to Switzerland.

Pontresina church. Here we are, almost there.

Most of the houses have views like this.

Finnisch für Anfänger:

EI HUONO = nicht schlecht / not bad

Full moon and snow, where are ... ha haaaa!

Rental skis, sticks, helmets and boots in our rental car.

Pontresina lies ca 6 km from St. Moritz away.
Such a good walking tour.
Oderazzi hiking? Not really, walking.
Photo safari or something.

To see snow is fine for a weekend, I think.

On the way in the forest there is this bird feeding place.

Just cute.

Just snow.

Nature.

And check these trees.

Finnisch für Anfänger:

LEHTIKUUSI = Lärche / larch

The lake in front of St. Moritz.

The opposite side.

A real tourist trap? Well, an old tourist attraction.
St. Moritz.

Anyways:

The Engadin is a paradise for sports enthusiasts and adventure-seekers,
a place of inspiration and tranquillity, a valley of pristine nature, full of
cultural treasures. Every visitor discovers a special place here to fall in love with.

November is still totally off-season for tourism.
Many of those posh fashion shops and restaurants are closed.
At Christmas time the wealthy tourists arrive.

Less wealthy tourists take the bus.

Skiing pics coming soon.

Finnisch für Anfänger:

SVEITSI = Schweiz / Switzerland
VEITSI = Messer / knive
EI = nein / no
