May wonders

°

Boys and girls, how wonderful it is to ...

... enjoy early dinner in a restaurant, outside, watching people.
How simple is that then.
But now during corona times, that is not possible in Germany.
In Spain, yes.

And the Spanish colours!

May is such a wonderful month.
Check those crazy Margarethas, they are almost as tall as I am!

Spaniards consider this borage / Borretsch as a weed ...
In Germany it is used in the Grüne Sosse in Frankfurt,
and it is also called Gurkenkraut.
The flowers make such a cool decoration on salads.

How amazing is this then?
This snake was ... yes ... killed last autumn.
And yes, it is allowed to kill these ones as they are
originally not from Mallorca.
Well, we did nor bury him but left him on a stone wall.
Hello, nature fellas have done their best, but even if the
weather on the island in the winter season is very humid,
this guy just dried!

I guess I have to frame it.

These opuntias are such fabulous foto objects.

Bye bye pine trees

°

Grasshoppers used to be a real threat in the Biblic times.

We had this pine drama already a couple of years ago when a strong storm
broke a couple of pine trees in down town Artá. A few trees had to be removed.
Now no weather damage has occurred but the old trees just have to go.
Sicherheitsrisiko.

Work started.

Slowly but surely.

If trees could fly.

Check check all that wood ... not only for burning.

For the record.

Next to the tourist information. For the record.

Nää automaattiset käännökset on kerrassaan huvittavia.

This is the time of the year when the evening sun really
creates beautiful moments.

Well, early afternoon sun can be cool, too.
Here a view over Capdepera.

The pomegranates keep on ripening.

And the snakes keep on ... well, they try to cross our campo
but our garden help was faster!

Snake skin can be decorative.
