Spent a splendid, sunny day in this area:
Llucmajor we had visited already earlier, but not on a market day.
The coastline was an unwritten book for us,
on the day of books and roses.
Maybe due to corona, the market was very pleasant to stroll through.
At any market, you should sit down and have a coffee and
enjoy the atmosphere.
Llucmajor has taller buildings than Artá.

The market continues from the main square along one long street,
at the end there is even a flea market.

En el centro de la Plaça des Sabaters podemos ver el monumento dedicado
a los zapateros, una profesión de la mayoría de los habitantes de la ciudad
hasta los años 70. Hecho en piedra de Santanyi, típico de la isla. El monumento
representa diferentes escenas del oficio. El escultor fue Thomás Vila y fue
inaugurado el 10 de agosto de 1963.

The coastline ca 25 km south-east of Palma is pretty steep,
no beaches. But great views, like here from the lookout Mirador de Sa Torre.
Wow. Sea Club Mhares.
They cannot call it beach club because the beach is missing.
But who needs a sandy beach when you can have this!

On top of the steep coastline you can live in cool villas.
Yes, nice clouds.
But check carefully, you can see Palma from here,
even if this isn't the front row location.
Must be an adorable view in the evenings!
Already in April people enjoyed the waterside.
And look at these pretty "pommes frites"!
Mine are not yet flowering, our Eastside garden must be cooler.
The dryer the better, it seems, for those amazing plants.

Tatsächlich, Sa Torre ist ein Touriort, aber nicht wie Ballermann.
Wer einen ruhigen Individualurlaub erleben möchte der ist in Sa Torre
hervorragend aufgehoben. Die Ortschaft zählt ca. 2500 Einwohner
und gehört zur historisch sehr bedeutenden Gemeinde Llucmajor.
