Elsass, Kaysersberg & Strasbourg

°

The prettiest village in Alsace. They say.

How true.

Alsace is a cultural region and a territorial collectivity in eastern France,
on the west bank of the upper Rhine next to Germany and Switzerland.
Alsatian culture is characterized by a blend of Germanic and French influences.
Although German dialects were spoken in Alsace for most of its history,
the dominant language in Alsace today is French.
Traditional dishes include baeckeoffeflammekuechechoucroute, and fleischnacka
(Wikipedia)

Pretty town.

Who buys this crap? Tourists?

A lot of hiking possibilities.

Pretty alleys.

Bretzl?!

Main Street.

A restaurant.
Kaysersberg really is pretty and worth a visit.

On the y back to the island our first stop was Strasbourg.
The cathedral is really, really cool.

Next to the big church there is this traditional house
with a traditional restaurant Maison Kammerzell.

With traditional food, indeed.

Very pretty.

With water.

Worth a visit, too.

And the journey continues towards South.
