Well, let's not forget the boring garden pics.

These beauties open their flowers at night.

In the morning still a bit open.

It is also known as moonlight cactus.

My plants only produce flowers, I never saw the fruit

which is called pitaya or pitahayain Spanish or as dragon fruit.

This year only one of my yucca palm trees is blossoming.

Great sight.

Another great sight can be the not so full moon.

Boncuk wie Perle

Our new visitor.

Der Name Boncuk lässt sich aus dem Türkischen direkt in „Perle“ 

übersetzen. Weiblicher kann ein Name in der Bedeutung also kaum 

sein. Der Name eignet sich somit besonders gut für weibliche 

Welpen, die besonders feminin wirken und auch 

eine gewisse perlige Schönheit ausstrahlen.

Should I go or should I stay ... 🎵🎵🎵

Well, Boncuk comes not very often but when she gets some food,

she is happy and relaxed. Her mother checks her moves

from a distance. They basically live in the neighboring finca.

So funny when you lift a cat like this.

The particularly loose skin at the back of the neck is known 

as the scruff, and is the area by which a mother cat grips her 

kittens to carry them. As a result, cats tend to become quiet 

and passive when gripped there. This behavior also extends 

into adulthood, when a male will grab the female by the scruff 

to immobilize her while he mounts, and to prevent her from 

running away as the mating process takes place. (Wiki)

Stormy weather shaked Frankfurt airport on Wednesday.

Our direct return flight from HEL was cancelled and we were

rerouted via Stockholm.

Stockholm.

Frankfurt.

Sommerwerft, the wet one

This summer has been pretty rainy in Germany.

Open air festivals and concerts really suffered.

Like the Sommerwerft Theaterfestival.

Wet.

Empty.

Nevertheless. UUSIKUU, the Finnish band with

"Vintage Sounds of Finland" had great gig 

in the Beduinenzelt on Saturday evening.

The local newspaper really liked the show:

Es ist die ganz große Show für das Ensemble aus Finnland. 

Das Beduinenzelt ist pickepackevoll. Der Regen hat die 

Menschen an diesem Samstagabend in die einzig 

überdachte Spielstätte der Sommerwerft im Osthafen getrieben.

Derweil ist die Stimmung im Beduinenzelt kurz vor dem Siedepunkt. 

Die Finnischlektion von Sängerin Ryhänen trägt erste Früchte und 

das Publikum singt den Refrain einer schmissigen Polka begeistert 

mit. „Es wurde hier in Frankfurt noch nie so laut auf Finnisch 

gesungen, das war Weltrekord“, freut sich die Sängerin.
