From Hurden we drove to Basel.
Hello, on this wall in the old town there are people from the party:
Ozzy, David, Tina ..!
And the Baseler Herbstmesse had just started.
The weather was mild, people, young families with kids,
everybody was out having fun.
Well, we had tickets for a jazz concert: Tingwall Trio.
Cool, groovy.

and sculptor born in Minnesota. He spent most of his career in South Florida.
He was known for his life-sized realistic sculptures of people. He cast the

Dreizehn Skulpturen durfte der Beyeler-Kurator Raphaël Bouvier aus Museen
und dem Nachlass des 1996 verstorbenen Künstlers Duane Hanson auswählen
und sie mit hundert Meisterwerken der Sammlung korrespondieren lassen.

It seems there are a few works of Marlene Dumas in the Beyeler collection.
At the Rathausplatz there was a street food market.
Basel is a very lively town, indeed.
Outside of Basel there is a ... shrimp farm!
