Let's check the sculptural scene on the island.
Let me introduce you to Cleo.
Cleo is guarding the entrance to our friends' finca.
Created by German artist Jutta Lutz.
Check for her further works in Instagram:
#juttalutz_skulpturen
Material is basicly ceramics including sand from Mallorca.
Very personalized.
Quite charming.
In Manacor, the second largest town in Mallorca,
there are ... funny ... sculptures all around the city.
Manacor artists involved:
Toni Galmés Bennàssar und Sebastià Riera Pocoví.
Das sind fünf Figuren aus Holz, Pappe, Schaum und Polyurethan
von großen Abmessungen, die mit einem verzauberten Wald verwandt sind.
This is a funny way to draw attention away from a building site.
El Racó de les Bèsties.
He is guarding over the square where the most restaurants are.
With open eyes!
Several amanitas are "growing" in the city.
Or: have been growing, now they are loosing some "dots".
Those "dots" actually look like ... excrements ...
😜
Finnisch für Anfänger:
KÄRPÄSSIENI = Fliegenpilz / fly amanita
KÄRPÄNEN = Fliege / fly
SIENI = Pilz / mushroom
Next to the cathedral.
Das Universum von 'Manacor Encantat' wird durch die Installation
von dekorativen Bändern vervollständigt, die die Straßen schmücken,
und mit den Farben der Cossiers-Bänder.

And more sculptures to follow in my next posting.
