Finally I tried the wonderful world of e-biking.
We have this new bike shop in town and they have all kinds of bikes,
for rental, as well. Off we went, did two tours in the area.
Climbing up to this lighthouse in Cala Ratjada: no problem!
Even easier than driving by car, as the road is a serpentine road.
Great weather, great views.

Girls rode city bikes, the boys, of course, mountain bikes.
Or road bikes? Would I know the difference?

I guess would be pretty impossible, too, to ride in the sand.
When biking you can catch much more interesting objects than
when driving by car. Look at these piggies!

The second tour was southwards.
First stop in Son Servera, where the open air church stands.
Església Nova
The Catalan architect Joan Rubió Bellver, who worked with the world-famous
Antoni Gaudí, was commissioned to design this emblematic church in the
municipality of Son Servera, although after several changes had been made,
it was finally left unfinished. Today we can see elements of Neo-Gothic architecture,
a marked austerity, large windows and rose windows and a particularly
magical effect due to it being open to the sky.

Second stop in la Punta n'Amer.
The Castle of la Punta de Amer (Spanish: Castillo de la Punta de Amer)
is a 17th century fortification located in Sant Lorenzo des Cardessar
on the island of Mallorca. The sandstone structure was built in the late 17th
century, and is now a protected site.
Actually it's located 10 km from the township of Sant Lorenzo.
Lunch break in Port Verd Del Mar.
This restaurant definitely should redesign their parking space,
more and more customers arrive by bikes.
Second tour, ca 37 km.
Well, we did not climb up high mountains neither did we
ride hundreds of miles, but it was a good test.
