the Spanisch celebrate Constitution Day
and the Finns?

INDEPENDENCE DAY


And this year Finland celebrated the 100th birthday.
How cool is that then.

The President of Finland organizes "Linnan juhlat",
a big party in the evening of the 6th of December.
Mr. and Mrs. President are greeting all guests by handshake,
and that is broadcasted live on Finnish tv,
it also can be seen live in internet.

Independence Day Reception is an event organised annually 
by the President of Finland at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki 
on the Finnish Independence Day 6th of December. 
Invitations are sent out for members of parliament, communal and 
business representatives, and other people who distinguished 
themselves in the year related to arts, sports, etc.
