Boring Medaterranean nature pics

February is the coldest month of the year.
Whilst in Germany the thermometers are showing minus grades,
in the Mediterranean area the first flowers start blossoming.

Pink daisies.

Oh and almond trees!

Almost done.

Acacia dealbata (known as silver wattle,
blue wattle or mimosa) is a species of Acacia,
native to southeastern Australia in New South Wales,
Victoria, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory
and widely introduced in Mediterranean,
warm temperate, and highland tropical landscapes.

Die Silber-Akazie (Acacia dealbata),
auch als Falsche Mimose bezeichnet,
gehört zur großen Gattung der Akazien (Acadia)
in der Familie der Hülsenfrüchtler,
Unterfamilie Mimosengewächse.

Close-up of the mimosa.

More almond blossoms.

And more ...

... and close-up ...

... and the whole ones ...

Some climber.

Lonesome rose.

New bougainvillea.

Bees having fun.

Oranges from our garden.

Well well, we do have all kinds of problems with the pool.

And then the rain came but the sun did not disappear.

Rain pic.

Promise, the last almond blossom pic this time.

Close to the Palma airport are those windmills.

Sometimes the sky is like a renaissance painting.
