Did you know ...

°
At hairdressers, lucky me, they still offer all those magazines.

Interior design magazine also informs:
The Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala
would have had his 100. birthday this year.
Iittala, the traditional Finnish glass factory,
is reproducing some of his products.

BBQ season has started
and you do NOT have this gadget for your burgers yet?
Hurry up!

Pool boys at work ...
not really. Such a disappointment,
it is not going to be a pool, not even a pond.
It's gonna be a corner with a bench and sculptures
honoring the architect Martin Elsaesser,
builder of the "Grossmarkthalle".

FAZ wrote:

(FAZ 16.4. S. 33)

Building site is going to be in front of our house until autumn.
We are not amused.

They say there is no way to keep the city rabbits away.
But had to buy this for testing purposes,
the pic is hilarious!

The black bugs in this mini snowball
are really annoying.

They've attacked the rhodos underneath.
So I also purchased some poison ...
Samen Andreas is such a friendly garden shop in the middle of the city.

Check their inter site for further info:

These climbing buggers (Wisteria/Baluregen) are just wonderful,
no bugs, just a few petals on my lawn, though.

Petals

How
...
boring can it get?
Those flower//gardening pics.

Bought at Saturday market at Konstablerwache in Frankfurt.

Such lovely tulips.

And this is how they looked like in our friends' vase on Sunday.
Thanks KiSaLi for the dinner with your nice company!

View from our flat.

But the neighbor saw even stronger colors in Bethmannpark.

I do not think that this car has been parked here for too long.
Seen in the Uhalndstrasse in Frankfurt-Ostend.
Between our house and Janis Cafe.
It's just the time when the petals fall.
Better than bird poop ... wrote a fb friend of mine!

New car cover.
Just to remind you: we do not own a car.

Ladies in Cala Ratjada

°

„On rompen les ones“ (Wo die Wellen brechen).

Mallorca's north-eastern coast resort, Cala Ratjada,
has a new attraction this season, a sculpture route called
'Where the Waves Break'
along its coastline by the artist Joan Bennassar.
Just inaugurated by the local council based in nearby Capdepera,
the coastal path and gardens are dotted with 11 sculptures by Bennassar,
one of Mallorca's most important, and famous, living artists.

Eleven figures in all grace the seafront, some,
full length and nearly 3 metres tall,
are placed on the rocks by the sea and others,
half figures, are located in the gardens.
Weighing up to 450 kg, the female statues invite us
to contemplate the poetic beauty of the land, the sea,
and the female form!

On rompen les ones,
