This weekend's found in our garden:

Finnisch für Anfänger:

HEINÄSIRKKA = Heuschrecke / grasshopper

HEINÄ = Heu / grass
SIRKKA = Grille / cricket
also a popular Finnish first name (female)

Actually this guy probably is
a speckled bush-cricket
(punktierte Zartschrecke)
Leptophyes punctatissima

The speckled bush-cricket is quite a common species,
but its colouring and secretive lifestyle, hidden away in the undergrowth,
mean that it often passes unnoticed.

This buddy was definitely feeding himself with my roses.

The antennae are twice as long as the body.

Oh yes, my hibiscus "Summer Storm" is again going on strong!
